This was a large to medium sized project in Willesden that involved a total reconfiguration of the ground floor, a partial reconfiguration of the first floor and a new loft conversion in the roof space. A new extension to rear of the house was to include a separate utility room and new garage, and a double height void in the living area.

22 steels were used in total.

Ground floor: There were three new separate but connected rear extensions to the property. The entrance to the new utility room was 'hidden' amongst square panels (seen below middle right photo). The old first floor outrigger bedroom was completely demolished to create a double height atrium to the living area. Overlooking the space was a new office which had sliding doors to let in the light from the atrium. The whole area was fitted with underfloor heating as well as specially positioned radiators to prevent 'cold dumping' from the void.

A new kitchen was fitted that included bespoke walnut cabinetry elements from our joinery.

Toward the front of the house a new music room was created and we had to reproduce existing cornicing, skirting, and other mouldings. Two sets of panelled double doors were made by us to match the existing doors.

A new W.C was also added.

First floor: We created a stand alone master suite consisting of a master bedroom, bathroom and office. The bedroom cabinetry, office cabinetry and office desk were made by our joinery.

The two other bedrooms were completely refurbished. We also added a family bathroom with bespoke joinery elements made by us.

Loft: A new loft conversion was created in the roof space consisting of one bedroom and bathroom and a substantial hallway with bespoke storage.

For the new stairs we had to replicate the existing stairs and mouldings exactly.

External: A new raised patio was formed and paved with reclaimed york stone. There was extensive landscaping to the garden. The extension roofs were topped off with fibre glass and sedum mat.
